Anglers place second at regional qualifier on West Point Lake
Colon cancer survivor and founder of the Elbert County Colon Cancer Support Group Pam Allen traveled to Washington, D. C. earlier this month to advocated for colorectal cancer research as part of Colon Cancer Awareness month.

One of the Elbert County Comprehensive High School JROTC female armed squads brought home a state championship after the state drill team meet in Griffin March 25.
