Elbert Memorial Hospital Representative Tammy Dalton was the drawing winner for The Elberton Star’s Community Choice Awards ballot contest. The Star received thousands of votes during the voting period in March, and those who cast ballots were entered into a drawing for a chance to win $100. A drawing was held at The Star office last week where Dalton’s name was selected. Community Choice Award winners were announced during the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet April 11.
