City council approves Eavenson hire as new city manager

The Elberton City Council unanimously voted to officially hire Kevin Eavenson as City Manager during the council’s Nov. 4 regular meeting after naming him the sole finalist for the position during the October meeting.
The Bennet-Jossey Art Gallery is located inside the media center of Elbert County Comprehensive High School and is open to the public. Visitors must check in with ID in the school’s front office.
