With the combination of veteran leadership and experienced cadets, the JROTC Mixed team captured Elbert County’s sixth state Raiders championship Oct. 26 at Griffin High School.
With a 35-18 win at Monticello Oct. 25, Elbert County got back on the winning track and improved to 4-4 on the season overall.
When Elbert travels to Putnam Friday night, it will be for arguably the most important game of the season.
