Elbert Little League announces season champions, All-star teams
The Nationals were crowned the 11-12-year-old softball champions after defeating the Cubs 17-12. The team includes Camdyn Kurtz, Lily Bobo, Kyonona Butler, Sophie Black, Jasper Butler, Reece Oakley, Erica Christian, Tiyah Turman, Cassidy James, Brooklynn Davis and Lillian Butler. Keith Floyd is head coach.
The Royals finished the season as the AA, or 7-8-year-old, champions after beating the Blue Jays 2-1. The team includes Haynes Bone, Jase Rider, Gavin Black, Hank Bott, Kamryn Wright, Dallas Crocker, Carson Johnson, Elijah Aston, Lane Crocker, Braxton House and Lucas Aston. The team is coached by Head Coach Derek Aston.
