Bowman city council recall election held Tuesday

Downtown square decision on the horizon

A decision looms on whether or not to move forward with Elberton’s downtown square renovation project as the Elberton City Council is slated to determine the project’s future during the upcoming April 7 council meeting.

Early voting for Bowman council recall winds down

By Julie Weeks jweeks@elberton.com   Early voting for the City of Bowman's upcoming recall election of council members Leah Carey and Betty Jo Maxwell will continue through this Friday. All early voting will take place between 9 a.m. and  5 p.m. at City Hall.
