Easter Bunny visits Elberton The Easter Bunny made an early stop to Elberton’s downtown square as Main Street Elberton hosted their fifth annual Eggstravaganza April 17. The event saw children of all ages in attendance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and find eggs hidden on the square.

Court of Appeals comes to Elbert

The Georgia Court of Appeals is headed to Elbert County May 1 to continue their efforts with community outreach by hosting offsite oral arguments May 1 at the Elbert County courthouse, the court announced in an April 8 press release.

City council approves square concept

The Elberton City Council voted unanimously to accept a conceptual design for the Elberton Downtown Square Renovation Project, moving the project into an exploratory phase where the plans will be finalized and a cost will be determined.
