Moments after The Medical Center of Elberton (TMCE) announced it had written a second appeal letter to the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) asking for a public hearing in front of the full DPH board and Georgia Gov.

City Manager Lanier Dunn told the Elberton City Council and Mayor at Monday’s meeting that since President Joe Biden took office Jan. 20, there were some executive orders, and potential orders, that would be “very concerning to the City of Elberton.
