Devon Turman never thought he’d be back at Elbert County Comprehensive High School (ECCHS) as one of this year’s newest teachers and coaches. Turman, who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and has lived in Elberton since he was four years old.

Over $760,000 worth of improvement projects were approved for the Elbert County Airport at Monday’s regular meeting of the Elbert County Board of Commissioners (BOC).
