The Elbert Memorial Hospital/Athens Technical College partnership has entered its second week of supplying Moderna vaccines in the parking lot on the south side of EMH’s Wellness Center. The program includes nursing students at Athens Tech under the direction of nursing school instructors.

State lifts TMCE suspension

After a flurry of phone calls and texts with Gov. Brian Kemp’s and Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) Commissioner Kathleen Toomey’s offices Thursday, The Medical Center of Elberton (TMCE) will be able to resume its vaccination program next month after accepting an offer from DPH.
