The May 24 Primary Election saw a split in incumbent and newcomer wins for seats on the Elbert County Board of Commissioners as Casey Freeman defeated challenger Austin Williams for the District 2 seat and newcomer Mike Scoggins swept incumbent Kenneth Ashworth for the District 4 seat.
