Rams place second at region duals

Elbert County Middle School’s Mat Rams finished in second place as a team and had four individual region champions at the region traditionals hosted by Hart County Dec. 10.

Lady Devils dominate Madison, Murray to move to 6-1 on season

Elbert County’s Lady Devils continued their run of dominance as they stretched their win streak to six games after defeating Madison County 60-25 at home Dec. 9 and Murray County 67-39 at Grayson High School during the Sandy’s Spiel Showcase Dec. 10.

Devils make second-half comeback, improve in loss to Madison

Mat Devils see eight Top 3 finishes during series of scrambles on the road

Elbert County’s varsity Mat Devils wrestled in the Banks Scramble hosted by Banks County Dec. 9 while the JV Mat Devils wrestled in the JV Panther Scramble hosted by Jackson County Dec. 10 and the two teams saw one individual first place finisher and a host of second and third place finishes.

The Elbert County Blue Devils football team now boasts the Region 8A Division 1 Athlete of the Year, 17 players named to the All-Region Team and four honorable mentions after the region awards were announced Dec. 2.

Lady Devils looking to extend winning streak in Week 4

Lady Rams take wins over Hart, Franklin, Mat Rams split duals with Banks, Commerce

The Elbert County Middle School Lady Rams seventh and eighth grade basketball teams added a pair of wins to their record over the past week as they delivered dominant wins over Hart County Dec. 1 and Franklin County Dec. 5. The seventh grade Lady Rams defeated the Lady Bulldogs Dec.
