Elbert tennis ready for senior day vs. Franklin

Last week, the Elbert County tennis teams traveled to Providence Christian Academy for a match against the Storm March 3. Both teams came up short, losing each match by a total score of 4-1. The winners for Elbert County were senior Emily Poon and sophomore Adrian Jenkins.

Diamond Devils finding rhythm ahead of region schedule start

Region play is here for the Elbert County baseball team as the Diamond Devils pursue their first region crown since 2023. Elbert bounced back from an 0-2 start to rip off five straight victories, before losing both games in a Saturday doubleheader against Eastside and Sandy Creek.

Elbert County tennis team has mix of experience across rosters

There’s a bit of a youth movement going on in the world of Elbert County tennis. First-year head coach and 2021 Elbert County Comprehensive High School graduate Bo Kidd is returning to his alma mater as the program’s head coach, after being a standout tennis player for Elbert back in high school.

Brown reaches 1,000 career points, Blue Devils await playoff seeding

Elbert County basketball came up short in the first round of the region tournament against Banks County Monday night, losing 55-43 at Piedmont University in Demorest. Though Elbert’s run in the region tournament was cut short, they will still likely land in the GHSA state tournament.
