The Elbert County Blue Devils football team had a total of 10 players named to the Region 8A Division 1 All-Region team Dec. 4 after being voted on by the region’s coaches.

The Elbert County Middle School (ECMS) Rams and Lady Rams basketball teams posted a clean sweep of Habersham County Nov. 9. The seventh grade girls team won their game over Habersham by a score of 26-11 while the eighth grade girls won their game by a score of 44-22.
