State will award medical cannabis production licenses on Saturday

The Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission will  meet Saturday, July 24 to award only six production license contracts to a list of over 70 cannabis cultivators and processors whose applications were submitted by the end of January. Silverleaf Health Alternatives, Inc.

DOT replacing bridge on Hartwell Highway

The Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) has notified a county landowner of the DOT’s proposed plan to replace a bridge over Coldwater Creek on Georgia Highway 77 (Hartwell Highway) in 2022.
