The Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission will  meet Saturday, July 24 to award only six production license contracts to a list of over 70 cannabis cultivators and processors whose applications were submitted by the end of January. Silverleaf Health Alternatives, Inc.

A proposed high-speed railway connecting Atlanta with Charlotte, North Carolina could pass through a small portion of the northwestern corner of Elbert County after the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) recommended the “Greenfield Corridor Alternative” as the recommended route for the railway...

By Beau Evans Staff Writer Capitol Beat News Service Gov. Brian Kemp renewed orders late Wednesday to keep Georgia’s current social distancing and safety rules imposed through the end of July to discourage the spread of coronavirus in place for businesses, schools and public gatherings.
