Raiders mixed team finishes first, female team finishes second

The Elbert County Raiders are fresh off of another strong performance as the mixed team finished first and the female team finished second at the Classic City Raider Competition hosted by Cedar Shoals Sept. 30.

Elbert County Elementary School was one of 155 schools across the state to be recognized by State School Superintendent Richard Woods as a 2022-2023 Literacy Leader. The recognition included a special visit from Woods Sept.

County, school board to hold millage re-do hearings today
