Elbert County's newest queen is Jaslyn Huff after she was crowned homecoming queen during the halftime homecoming ceremony that took place during Elbert County's football game against Oglethorpe County in the Granite Bowl Sept. 19.

Blue Devils’ late push falls short against Lincoln County

Friday night saw another hard-fought slugfest in the Granite Bowl, with Lincoln County outlasting Elbert County 24-17. The Blue Devils’ defense battled hard all night and consistently stifled a Red Devil offense that had averaged 46.5 points per game in its last two contests.

Elbert County cross country has season-best showing

Elbert County cross country turned in its strongest performance of the year at the Southern Traditions XC Jamboree, hosted by Tallulah Falls School at The Farm Course on Thursday. Junior runner Dakota Toole was Elbert’s top finisher, coming in at ninth overall with a time of 19 minutes and 36.
