Henderson stars as Blue Devils play tournament in Suwanee

Elbert County sent five boys’ golfers to Bear’s Best Golf Club in Suwanee for the North Gwinnett Invitational this weekend. The Blue Devils shot a 319 as a team, good enough for fourth place. Nolan Henderson led the way for Elbert County with a 70 and made a playoff for the top individual spot.

Lady Devils compete against 65 teams at Red Ryder Cup in Jekyll

The Elbert County girls’ golf team went down to Jekyll Island this weekend to play in the Red Ryder Cup hosted by Glynn Academy at Pine Lakes Saturday, March 7.

Devils, Lady Devils finish fourth at Blue Devil Shootouts

  Arrowhead Pointe was bustling this weekend as it played host to the Blue Devil Shootouts Feb. 28. A total of 136 golfers from around Georgia came to compete in the scramble tournament, which was split between boys and girls. Both of Elbert’s teams finished fourth in their respective fields.

Elbert County golf teams striving to maintain the standard

Last season was a triumph for the Elbert County golf program, with the boys’ team winning the GHSA state championship and the girls’ team finishing as state runners-up.
