The Elbert County golf team better make some more space in that trophy room of theirs.

Diamond Devils take care of Chattooga in first round of GHSA baseball A state tournament

The Elbert County baseball team is on to the sweet sixteen of the GHSA Class A Division I state tournament after sweeping a playoff doubleheader against Chattooga in the first round Friday afternoon.
The ECCHS JROTC team brought two more state championships home from this year's state meet in Griffin. The drill team includes Naomi Bernal, Isabel Cruz, Yamileth Carreon, Daniella Govea, Colton Mabry, Nyasia Teasley, Micheal Bowman, Jacob Brown, Daniel Nguyen, Nalleli Rodriguez, Ariel Moncallo, Attorian Small, Tommy Moon, Seeley Stelter, Alex Scott, Samuel Gohn, Marley Geyer, Riley Masters and Jordan Poulsen. Elbert County JROTC drill team adds two more state championships

Elbert County Comprehensive High school's JROTC program continued its recent dominance after the program added two more state championships to its growing collection.

Elbert County’s Zoe Evans signs to play flag football at Emmanuel University

The Elbert County Comprehensive High School flag football program may still be in its infancy, but it’s already produced one college athlete.

Elbert County’s Gracie Kidd signs to play college tennis

Elbert County tennis senior Gracie Kidd made her college plans official Thursday afternoon when she signed to play tennis at Emmanuel University prior to the team’s practice.Kidd was joined by family and teammates at the signing.

Elbert County golf teams each play pair of tournaments

It was a busy few days for the Elbert County golf teams. Over the weekend, the boys’ team traveled to Dalton for the Five Star Invitational Saturday while the girls competed at the West Georgia Lady Invitational in LaGrange from Friday to Saturday.

Elbert tennis ready for senior day vs. Franklin

Last week, the Elbert County tennis teams traveled to Providence Christian Academy for a match against the Storm March 3. Both teams came up short, losing each match by a total score of 4-1. The winners for Elbert County were senior Emily Poon and sophomore Adrian Jenkins.
