The accolades for Elbert County golf just keep on rolling in.Three Elbert County golfers were named to the 2026 GHSA All-State team: senior Madden Drake and junior Nolan Henderson for the boys’ team and junior Lucy Johnson on the girls’ team.

The Elbert County Blue Devils aren’t done playing golf just yet.Two weeks after winning the GHSA A Division I state championship for the second year in a row, Elbert County was invited to play at the 2026 PGA High School Golf National Invitational at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.

It’s about to be that time for Elbert County golf.The Blue Devils are hosting the 2026 GHSA golf state championship tournament at Arrowhead Pointe next week. The 36-hole competition will run from Monday to Tuesday, with boys teeing off at 8 a.m. Monday and girls at 1:10 p.m.

The Elbert County golf program is teeing off the excitement for the GHSA state championships with a welcome party at the Elberton square Sunday night. The event will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. the night before the championships begin Monday at Arrowhead Pointe.
