The Elbert County Parks and Recreation (ECPR) 7U Blue Devils made ECPR history as the first team to win back-to-back championships after bringing home the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship Saturday, Nov. 19 at Stephens County. The championship is the second for the team as it won the AFC Championship as the 6U team last season. Saturday’s 28-7 championship win over Oglethorpe County was the first game this season that the undefeated 7U team had given up a touchdown, finishing the year with a perfect record and outscoring their opponents 320-7. The 7U team includes Ja’Cody Allen, Brodie Bagwell, Levi Barnes, Lance Barnett, Maddox Bellew, Gage Brown, Connor Burton, Malcolm Carter, Mason Chambliss, Nylen Cleveland, Landyn Heard, Peyton Hester, Cayson Huff, James Hughes, Kayson Jones, Princeton Jones, Trendy Jones, Dominick Kimball, Ayden Lyle, Jase Rider, Easton Smith, Colton Streetman, Jer’Braylen Teasley, Jayden Walker, Kaydin Walker and Kamryn Wright.
