Children in the Elbert County Community Friends’ summer activities program received a lesson in chemistry from Elbert County’s own chemist, Pamela Brown, Monday, June 20 at the Mill Street Gym. Brown performed an experiment that allowed children to blow up balloons by having baking soda in the balloons mix with vinegar in a recycled water bottle.
