A total lunar eclipse took place between 5:16 a.m. and 6:41 a.m. over the East Coast of the United States Tuesday morning as the moon passed entirely into the Earth’s shadow. The beginning of the red eclipse could be seen just beyond the Historic Courthouse. According to NASA’s website, the next total lunar eclipse won’t take place again until March of 2025.
