Blue Cielo Farms holds ribbon cutting

The Elbert County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Blue Cielo Farms Friday, Feb. 3 before the winery and vineyard held its grand opening to the public Saturday, Feb. 4. The winery is newly-opened after coming under new ownership after being formerly known as Lake Russel Vineyards, owned by the late operator Dale Lyman. The winery and vineyard is now owned by Gary and Cassandra Wiseman and is located at 2401 Pine Ridge Drive. The winery is open Fridays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from noon until 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 6 p.m.
