The 21st annual Twilight Stroll by the Granite Bowl was held Jan. 5 on the streets of downtown Elberton and culminated with a run around the field inside the Granite Bowl. There were 107 registered participants. The Overall Male Winner was Kenneth Gunter of Elberton and the Overall Female Winner was Layan Elmor of Evans. The Masters Male Winner was Dale Looper of Easley, South Carolina and the Masters Female Winner was Sandra House of Elberton. Elbert County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Rebecca Long said there were participants from four states – Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Florida – and about half of the participants were from outside Elbert County.
