Elbert County Emergency Services Director Chuck Almond has been named President of the Northeast Georgia Region 10 EMS Directors Association.
The announcement was made by the Association March 3.
Walton County EMS Director Ronnie Almand serves as Vice President while Greene County EMS Director Anna Sheridan serves as Secretary and Treasurer for the association.
The Region 10 EMS Directors Association advisory committee is comprised of several leaders of EMS throughout Region 10. National EMS Director Huey Atkins, C.J. Worden of Oconee County Georgia Emergency Management Agency, Madison County EMS Director Bobby Smith, Oglethorpe County EMS Director Jason Lewis, Kathi Davis of Piedmont Athens Regional, Chris Threlkeld Regional EMS Director for Region 10, Beth Seymour Assistant Director for Elbert County Emergency Services, and Josh Robinson, Assistant Director for Oglethorpe County EMS.
There are 1,906 EMS providers in Region 10.
This association was formed to support all EMS agencies and providers throughout Region 10. Members are always welcome to discuss any present issues or needs the faced by the region as well as future needs of the EMS industry.
The association stays active and collaborates and maintains a productive relationship with the Region 10 EMS Council and with the State Office of EMS .
