This recognition as STAR Student celebrates his academic achievements for which we are extremely proud. In addition to his academic excellence, Eli excels in football and baseball, is a student leader, and exhibits exemplary citizenship. He has been accepted into both the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech. He plans to major in engineering. We look forward to a bright future and continued success for Eli. Congratulations on being this year’s STAR Student.”
“Jeannie Jourolmon is a former English teacher, current Media Specialist and Athletic Director at ECCHS. She wears many hats for ECCHS in addition to being the mother of this year’s STAR Student. ‘Mrs. J,’ as the students and staff affectionately call her, has spent her career supporting students both in and out of the classroom. She has coached cheerleading, sponsored clubs, put together school dances, banquets, community pep rallies, and many other events throughout her lifetime in Elbert County. She loves her family, her Blue Devils, and her community. We love her back. Congratulations on your well deserved recognition as this year’s STAR Teacher.”
