Thanks to an anonymous Friends Helping Friends Club, Inc. (FHF, Inc.) donor, Advantage Friends remembered the life of one of their friends, Michael Tate, who passed away in November, with a celebration of activities in December. Tate's birthday was Dec. 27, so Advantage Friends celebrated during the month with “Be Like Mike” activities including a bowling trip to Athens, Papa’s Pizza Christmas parties and a movie at The Elbert Theatre. "Michael was full of life and joy, so during these celebrations his Advantage Friends enjoyed sharing fun memories of Mike, making buttons to wear with Mike's picture printed on them and making bandanas that say 'Be Like Mike,' FHF Founding President Sandy Adams said. "Michael’s friends also received Christmas gifts which also brought big smiles all around. May we all have Michael's infectious joy and 'Be Like Mike!'"
