Shirley Morgan Pressley, 69, of Lilesville, North Carolina and formerly of Carlton, died Nov. 8. Funeral services were held Nov. 12 at New Town Baptist Church and interment followed in the church cemetery. Berry Funeral Home

Virginia Dale Thatcher, 69, of Royston died Nov. 15. Services were held Nov. 19 in the chapel of Hicks Funeral Home.

JoNeil Childers, 76, of Royston died Nov. 16. Graveside services were held Nov. 19 in Colbert City Cemetery. Pruitt Funeral  Home, Royston

Evelyn R. Gardner, 83, of Elberton died Nov. 17. Funeral services were held Nov. 19 at Hicks Funeral Home chapel and interment was in Elmhurst Cemetery.

Clarence “Mack” Boles, 73, of Royston and a native of Dewy Rose, died Nov. 17. Funeral services were held Nov. 20 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home in Hartwell. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston.

James Allen Stansell, 78, of Elberton died Nov. 17. Memorial services were held Nov. 20 in the chapel of Hicks Funeral Home and inurnment followed at Middleton United Methodist Church cemetery.
