Bowman council votes against $220 annual library increase

The Bowman City Council denied a motion 3-2 to renew the library with a $220 budget increase from $5,400 to $5,620 with Rachel Felice, Carla Patten and Wade Bridges voting against and Tammy Dalton and Tyson Almond voting in favor of.

“I wish we were given this before … sometimes I feel like we’re just voting on something and I really don’t know what’s going on,” Felice told Mayor Mark Berryman.

“Over that small increase, I’m not going to nickel and dime people to death … that’s just my personal opinion,” Berryman replied.
