EMH Auxiliary scholarships are now open for applications
The Elbert Memorial Hospital Auxiliary scholarship season is now open.
Elbert County residents who are seeking degrees in the health care field are eligible to apply for two scholarships sponsored by the local and state hospital auxiliaries.
Applicants must be either accepted or currently studying at an accredited school.

Deadline is Feb. 10 and applicants must be sponsored and interviewed by our local auxiliary before the application can be sent to the state office.
Pre-med and pre-nursing applicants are not eligible.
The Elbert Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarships are local scholarships for Elbert County residents or employees who work full time in Elbert County.
Deadline is March 18.
Students must submit an application, SAT scores, official transcripts, three recommendations and a personal narrative essay.
An interview may be required for the scholarship.
The Auxiliary Scholarship Committee encourages eligible local students to apply for these scholarship opportunities.
